presenting unmet traumatic childhood needs are often experienced as \u2018difficult\u2019 or branded as BPDs, personality disorders or other DSM labels.\u00a0 They are the ones who bore us, drain us, humiliate us, idolise us, infuriate us, regular disappear, and eventually make us feel inadequate or even useless.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">2026 CRSPC Conference<\/span><\/strong> will focus on six configurations of challenging narcissistic dynamics which have emerged from analysis of childhood developmental trauma, specific unmet selfobject needs, and regularly occurring affective sequences.\u00a0 Integrating an Intersubjective Self Psychological perspective with a somatic, affective, and developmental understanding of relational dynamics, difficult clients can become treatable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During two and a half days, presentations will cover an overview of narcissism, as well as grandiose, submissive\/accommodating, hostile aggressive, empty\/needy, and envious\/rageful presentations.\u00a0 Case material integrated with Intersubjective Self Psychological theory will illustrate the challenges and successes of psychodynamic psychotherapeutic treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Additionally, the conference will feature<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">keynote presentation by <a href=\"http:\/\/selfnmotion.com.au\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Mutual-Embeddedness-Perlitz.pdf\">Dr. Dan Perlitz<\/a>\u00a0of Toronto Canada speaking on <em>Before Empathy and Selfobject Experience: <\/em><em>The Traits and Attitudes of the Analyst.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A tribute to Dr. Ron Lee whose 2019 ideas on Configurations and Treatment of
